Private Pilot
From newbie to newly minted private pilot in six months? That’s right! Dedicated students who fly twice a week will be holding their “tickets” in less than six months. Most FlyCarolina private pilot students earn their licenses in 6 to 9 months, but it’s your choice. Train at your own speed. The more often you fly (within reason), the more you will retain between lessons, and the fewer total hours (and total cost) will be required to complete your training.
Other than a visit to a local aviation medical examiner for your combined third-class medical certificate/student pilot license (don’t worry, no needles and we can help you find an AME close to home) FlyCarolina is your one-stop shop. We’ll provide everything from your flight training books and supplies to your rental aircraft for your practical exam. We’ll even administer your pre-solo and final written exams at our CATS computerized testing stations.
